  1. Hi Leestudd Try this calculator... http://www.alloywheels.com/Tyre_Calculator ...it will show you the differences in your speedo readings. Click the word 'show' below the 'tyre size to compare' boxes - this lets you put in other sizes directly. Pete
  2. Hi Leestudd, Could you get round your problem by using some longer self-tapping screws and placing pop rivet size washers behind the speaker frame? This would bring the speaker forward and it might clear the plastic. That's what I did many moons ago when we had our pic!! Have a look at post 3 here... http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/index.php?/topic/3424-changing-speakers/ HTH Pete
  3. Yes I'm still lurking on the site! I've tried a couple of times to submit scores from the arcade but they don't register and I get taken away from the arcade. I'm using Firefox but I get the same result in IE! Anybody else suffering like this? TP2
  4. SWMBO got a Sony ereader for her recent birthday and is very pleased with it. She borrowed a Kindle and a Sony to have a try before making the decision which to buy. The Sony has a browser but it isn't used much as it only seems to go to the Sony store!! On a slightly different but related track, has anybody else tried the Calibre book management software... http://calibre-ebook.com/ The interface looks like itunes and it's really simple to use.

  8. Well, since this seems to have stalled, the device is a calorimeter - used to find the amount of energy in various substances by burning them in oxygen. The energy content is calculated from the rise in temperature of water in the surrounding jacket. Anyone want to post a new picture? Pete

  13. Just to add my two pennorth, I've been running 4 winter tyres on the Yaris since early December, just after the first snowfall - I did manage to drive through this on the usual tyres. I got them, after much 'humming and haaing', debating the cost and internet reading, as I have a 60 mile round trip to work much of which is on country roads. They are Goodyear Ultragrip 8 eventually bought from Camskill in Whitehaven and cost £48.70 each. They were delivered to my usual garage for fitting. Camskill - please note that I have no connection to the company other than as a satisfied customer! (
  14. You have my sympathy Medwaypic. I had the misfortune to collide with a pedestrian who, by his own admission to the police, ran out against a red pedestrian crossing light. He did about £1000 worth of damage to the pic which was repaired on our insurance. The police decided not to pursue a prosecution and I have a strong feeling that he even claimed compensation from our insurance company - although I could not be bothered to go through the rigmarole of trying to contact the legal department of our then insurers. The down side of this is, as you have found out, that as soon as you report
